Dear Donors,

We hope this newsletter finds you well. It is time to give an update on the progress of the School Enhancement Project and to share the latest news with you.

As you may know, the piling construction for the new structure of Phase 2 was completed last year, and the construction of the New Main Entrance and Indoor Swimming Pool (Phase 2a+b) commenced in September 2022. The project is progressing well towards the target completion, with expectations of completion by the end of this year. The new Main Entrance, along with the multi-purpose area and the swimming pool, will provide an additional and much-needed 1,300 square meters of floor area to our campus.

With all the challenges we have faced in the past two years, we are fortunate to have pushed forward with Phase 2a+b, which is budgeted at $108 million. Thanks to all of you and our College Council, we have secured $98 million in funds for the project so far. We are currently recruiting for another $10 million by the end of September to complete this phase of construction.

We thank those of you who have already donated to the School Enhancement Project. Your generosity has helped to bring this project to reality, and we are grateful for your support. We are confident that continued support from the SPC community will help us reach our fundraising goal, giving our next generation the best learning provision and environment. Our next fundraising target is to build a modern and functional library on the 9th and 10th floors of the South Wing. Our aim is not only to provide an additional 40% of area but also to elevate the Library to a new standard that will be in line with the rapidly changing world.

We understand that economic uncertainties are hovering above us, and not everyone is in a position to make a significant donation. However, we stress that all contributions are appreciated and impactful, regardless of their size. Every donation counts and is a strong testament to your attachment to the school.

St. Paul's College made headline in April!

The College held the 170th Anniversary Heritage Exhibition from April 8th to 16th for two weeks at Central Market, which drew praise from the general public and alumni circles. We want to express our gratitude to our sponsors and donors who made our Exhibition Opening Ceremony a tremendous success. We were delighted to host so many of you at the event, and we hope you enjoyed the exhibition.
