Dear Donors,

We hope this newsletter finds you in good health and high spirits. As the new semester approaches, we would like to share some encouraging updates and express our heartfelt gratitude for your unwavering support.

Let's reminisce about some fond and remarkable fundraising memories from the Class of 1977.

In May 2023, the Class of 1977 initiated a fundraising drive that made lasting impression on our campaign. Their dedicated commitment and exceptional efforts surpassed all expectations, enabling them to more than meeting their original target and raised an impressive HK$2 million within a short time span. Their achievement serves as a shining example of the incredible spirit that defines St. Paul's College. We are profoundly fortunate and proud to have such a devoted group in our SPC community.

We would also express our gratitude to the Class of 1973 for their generous HK$1 million Class Gift on their 50th Anniversary. To commemorate the milestone, they are also organizing a series of exciting activities for their homecoming in November with great enthusiasm.

One of the highlights, the "ALL STARS INVITATIONAL FOOTBALL GAMES," aims to bring together former sports team members from the 1970s for a fun-filled event. It will undoubtedly be a fun event which will bring back nostalgic fond memories. We are also pleased to report that a team from the teaching staff has been invited to participate. Further details will be provided once they are confirmed. Stay tuned!

This homecoming football event not only promises a memorable experience for the school and the players but it will also serve as a meaningful fundraising initiative. Class '73, along with participants from the All-Stars teams, will make a donation to enhance the program of the SPC Sports Department.

While Phase 2A + 2B of our SEP is steadily progressing toward completion, we are still 10 Million away from our fundraising target. The fundraising team is working tirelessly to meet this goal. Here are the recent activities:

The Class of 1963 is launching a Class Gift Campaign, aiming to raise HK$250,000 towards the naming of the Music Resource Room. We extend our gratitude to Mr. Law Sau Fook '67, who donated HK$5 million in 2021 and has made a contribution for an additional HK$2 million, providing much-needed support during these challenging economic times. We also acknowledge Mr. Lau Man Fong Julian '75 for his pledge towards the naming of Classroom 4D, and Dr. Cua Tin Yin Simon '80 for his pledge towards the naming of a Teaching Room on 1/F.

Once again, we seek your continued support to help realize the mission of St. Paul's College. Together, we will make a significant impact on the lives of our boys and shape a brighter future.

With regards,
